I totally spent less time on the hair than I usually do, I was concentrating on getting the face looking right. But I'm glad that I found a new way of doing both that works!

Thanks everyone.

Just thought I'd post the pencil sketch for my art-trade with Ravenhawk.

Still got a lot to fix in his pose and stuff, but the overall feel of it is there.

Also, working on a simple group drawing of my own GW characters as a kind of on-off thing, something to do when I'm too lazy to focus on anything else:

They will all have armor in the finished version. Just tried to get their proportions to match and the poses looking good.

PERYNNE! I almost fainted. Holy ..wow....Ran looks amazing so far *__* I made a good decision of leaving him out of that poker drawing, yours is looking so awesome! Love the pose and that intense gaze. Totally him.

I am totally gonna work my butt off with my current multi-character drawing so I can start on yours. I found a pose and got a rough sketch of your sin and then WoW took over and all my art stuff started slowing down..stupid demonology warlocks are so fun to play gah!

I LOVE the multi-character sketch you're having! They look so cute. So jealous of your anatomy skills! It reminded me of this one that Murke did for our guild that I have yet to color:

Multi-character sketches are great fun. Especially if you can do them in a relaxed way, without fussing over each character too much. The reason I'm making them more simplified and smaller is because I try not to dwell on each detail too long - each character takes me only about 15-20 min to draw completely. Not very long, but when you count the time it takes to do all of the characters... it's still quite a lot.

@Hydralisk: I only have one kid, my monk. She's around 17 years old. My dervish is just very small statured (almost kid-sized, even though she's around 25), and my assassin just acts like a kid occasionally.

@Raven: Haha, no hurry. I've only done the sketch of Ran so far, I probably won't start colouring it until next week. I get easily distracted by games and other things too. I'm very glad you like the sketch though!

Thankeee~ Marsh, Thistle and Aeronwen. <3

Just a wip of my art-trade with Raven. :3 Decided to work on it in greyscale first, then do the colours later. Any comments on the face are very welcome - the colouring is not entirely finished there yet, but I'd love to get feedback on how it looks so far.

Black and white Ran! Still going to colour it.
Raven, If there's any mistakes at this point, please let me know. I've been staring at this so long that I've gone totally blind to it. XD Also, it looks soooo much darker as a .jpg, gotta see if I can fix it for the colour version.

Also, thought I'd post this here too (it'll go to DA as well):

It's a minicomic with Ran and my D&D character Mara. I blame Raven for it.

*jaw drops* You're making me ashamed on my part in the Art Trade! I LOVE it Perynne and that is an understatement

And you're to blame too for that comic strip lol. Or shall we just blame Mara and get ourselves off the hook? It makes me giggle everytime I read it. I'm gonna have to have a serious talk with Ran and ask him to be nice next time.

Noooo, don't be ashamed, I love how you drew Tomie! <3

Here's the colour version. I think I'm starting to get more comfortable with colouring black and white drawings... still not entirely satisfied with my technique though.

Closeup of his face:

Haha, perhaps instead of teaching Ran manners, I should just teach Mara some. XD She shouldn't walk around the city picking up random strangers, it's not polite!
And yes, let's blame Mara.

This must be my lucky week, got two awesome drawings two days in a row (the other from Magik). Not to mention featuring almost all of my OCs (except Roma) - Ran, Dani, Mina and Waffle.

You've definitely captured Ran's persona in this picture. It's amazing how you're able to do this with the limited information I gave on the character. I really love this Perynne, beyond words. The background complimented the drawing so well and enhanced that ranger character in him. Thank you so much!

lol! And our characters need some serious therapy , so it seems Though I think I like to keep them that way makes it a ton more fun! I like the idea of a cross-verse comic strip. I might make them myself lol.

Great work!!! I agree you're getting better at coloring your greyscale. Ran looks great.
Congrats to Raven for being spoiled this week
